At the risk of sounding insensitive, if she wants space you could build an extension. Seriously, there are two types of women, (trust me, I've been round the block more times than the postman's boots,)the ones who want to be independant and the ones who want to be looked after. If she asking for space and she also cares enough for you to mean what she has said with more sincerity than means of breaking up then respect her wish and do give her the space she is asking you by not wanting to be around and with her 24/7. It is a pleasure to look foward to meeting someone we care for if we have not seen them for sometime.
